STORY 1: $10,000 reward offered for man accused of robbing armored trucks

The FBI's Atlanta Field Office is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the capture of 

DeMarco Johnson, wanted for his alleged involvement in the robbery of two armored trucks in the 

Atlanta area earlier this year. Loomis Armored U.S. has contributed $5,000 to the reward, with an 

additional $5,000 from the FBI. Johnson is wanted on charges including Conspiracy to Commit Hobbs 

Act Robbery, Hobbs Act Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm during a Crime of Violence. He is 

believed to be in metro Atlanta and should be considered armed and dangerous. A federal arrest

STORY 2: Alleged Shooter of Hotel Clerk Stole Car from Tesla Dealership

Gary Jahmel Elliott, 28, allegedly shot a hotel clerk at a Quality Inn in Acworth and, hours later, broke 

into a Tesla dealership a mile away. Elliott broke into several cars at the dealership, stole items, and 

took a black 2023 Tesla Model Y. He led police on a chase in the stolen car, driving at high speeds. 

Later, police located him in his hotel room after a concerned citizen reported a suspicious individual. 

Elliott faces charges including aggravated battery, assault, possession of a firearm during a crime, 

burglary, theft, criminal damage, entering an automobile with intent to steal, fleeing, and driving with a 

suspended license.
