Argument led to stabbing at Motel 6 on Delk Road
A 23-year-old man, Samir Bennett from Marietta, was arrested by Marietta police for allegedly stabbing his roommate at a Motel 6 on Delk Road. The incident occurred after an argument escalated, with Bennett using a kitchen knife to stab the man in the left abdomen. He also made threatening motions with the knife and resisted arrest, resulting in charges of obstructing justice, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during a crime. Bennett is currently detained without bail at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
