During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Cherokee County Health Department is offering free breast cancer screenings at their Woodstock Health Center and Canton Health Center. These screenings include breast exams and referrals for mammograms for women aged 40 to 64 or any woman who notices concerning changes in her breast. Pap smears are also available for those who need them. Appointments are required, and eligible women can enroll in the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. Participants can receive goodie bags, breast cancer awareness literature, and have a chance to win prizes. Raise awareness and prioritize early detection by scheduling your screening today.
