Cobb County hoping for hundreds of new poll workers ahead of presidential election
With the presidential election fast approaching, Cobb County officials are working hard to recruit more poll workers. Thursday marked National Poll Worker Recruitment Day, and the county aims to enlist hundreds of volunteers for November.
Director of Elections, Tate Fall, explained that new recruits learn to operate equipment, set up voting stations, and handle necessary paperwork.
The response has been promising, with many signing up online. In Cobb, you can register via a portal, submit your application, and await contact from a supervisor.
With less than 100 days until the general election, record voter turnout is anticipated
