Lee Prettyman, a former Ball Ground City Councilman, has passed away at the age of 79. Prettyman dedicated decades of service to his country, community, and family. He served on the Ball Ground City Council from 2004 to 2022, making significant contributions during his tenure. As Chair of the Ball Ground Public Works Committee, he often praised the accomplishments of the public works team. Prettyman supported numerous initiatives, including the construction of a new elementary school, city hall, senior center, fire station, and police station. He was actively involved in community organizations such as the Ball Ground Masons and Lions Club. Known for his dedication and reliability, Prettyman will be remembered as a valuable council member who served his city well. His wife, Judy Prettyman, described him as a servant who wanted to help the city in any way he could.
