From the Henssler Financial Studio this is your news minute on the Gwinnett Daily Post podcast presented by Tom Wages Funeral home. Today is Saturday August 5th and I'm Brian Giffin.
During the summer, proactive students at Georgia Gwinnett College engaged in valuable internships. Grayson Scott, a business major, interned at the U.S. General Services Administration, gaining management and leadership skills. Karen Ramos, a cinema and media arts production major, worked as a videography intern at Camp Towanda, honing her filming skills for sports and event media. Jezatbeth Perez, a nursing major, interned at Northside Hospital Gwinnett, learning patient care in a cardiac intensive care unit. Joel Suazo, a biochemistry major, participated in Project SEED, researching pharmaceutical compounds and mentoring high school students. These internships provided practical experience and prepared students for their future careers. Read more about this at gwinnettdaily post.com. For the Daily Post Podcast I'm Brian Giffin
