The first fire occurred on Spring Mesa Drive, where a family dog alerted the homeowner to the fire, enabling their escape. Unfortunately, the dog did not survive. One firefighter was evaluated for heat exhaustion, and the Red Cross is supporting the family during repairs. The second fire took place on Raintree Drive, caused by a grill on the back porch. The homeowner and a family member escaped and called 911 from a neighbor's house. The Red Cross is also assisting this family during the repair process.
