Patrick Humes, a 37-year-old man from Athens, was arrested on 28 charges of criminal damage to property after allegedly driving erratically through yards, hitting parked cars, and causing destruction in the Berkley Hills Estates neighborhood in unincorporated Duluth. The incident involved a Mercedes G500 and resulted in damage to a total of 30 vehicles and other property. Videos shared online by residents showed the chaotic scene. While investigators have yet to determine the motive, it's suspected that Humes may have been experiencing a mental health crisis at the time. Despite claims of possible gunfire, no evidence of gunshots or firearms was found during the investigation.
