From the Henssler Financial Studio this is your news minute on the Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast presented by Engineered Solutions of Georgia. Today is Saturday, September 9th and I'm Keith Ippolito.
Gwinnett County has initiated the Gwinnett Small Business Grant program, which is now accepting applications. The program aims to provide financial aid to small businesses that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Gwinnett County received $181 million in federal funding through the American Rescue Plan Act, with $6 million designated to support small business owners who experienced income loss or increased costs while operating during the pandemic.
Grants will range from $3,000 to $15,000, determined by factors like the number of employees, gross revenue, COVID-19 impact, available funds, and application volume. Applicants must provide business license verification, payroll records, and documentation of the pandemic's impact. Assistance is available in multiple languages via phone and email.
Interested parties can undergo eligibility pre-screening to confirm qualification before applying at GwinnettCounty.com/SmallBusinessGrant.
