Kennesaw City Council member Robert "Trey" Sinclair was arrested and charged with DUI and hit and run following a multi car wreck. Sinclair allegedly rear-ended another vehicle and left the scene. The crash involved three cars and occurred on Cobb Parkway. The other drivers involved provided the license plate number of the white Ford F-150 truck responsible, which was registered to Sinclair. Police went to Sinclair's brewery, Dry County Brewing, and found him there. Sinclair admitted to being involved in the wreck but decided to leave before the police arrived. He declined to provide a breath sample and stumbled when exiting his truck. Sinclair was taken into custody for leaving the scene of the accident and suspected DUI. Blood samples were taken for analysis, and Sinclair was booked into the Cobb County jail on misdemeanor charges. An arraignment is scheduled for November 16.
