Derick Lamont Ragland, a 48-year-old McDonough man, has been indicted by a Cobb County grand jury for conspiring to conceal the death of James Harold Creighton, whose body was found in a Kennesaw dumpster in 2021. Creighton's remains were wrapped in layers of plastic, tarps, cardboard, and straps before being hidden in the dumpster. Ragland is the second person arrested in connection to Creighton's death, with the first being Garfield Royes Norris. Ragland is accused of working with Norris to hide the body and has been linked to locations containing similar materials. He was arrested and is currently held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
