More Renovations Coming to the Holly Springs Depot
Holly Springs leaders have made progress in renovating the historic train depot, with the City Council awarding over $156,000 contract to Yanover Construction for further work. This includes upgrading wheelchair-accessible ramps and a restroom. The contract spans 90 days, with plans to proceed by month-end. In June, the council granted a $56,000 contract to Stonecrest Homes GA, for depot renovations. These involve raising the floor, improving bathroom accessibility, adding doors, enhancing the exterior deck and ramp, and adding windows for more light. Exterior painting in a green palette will follow the construction's completion. Renovations are expected to conclude in spring 2024.
