A fundraiser for Gov. Brian Kemp's re-election campaign recently brought hundreds of people, including many Cherokee County leaders, to Ball Ground, and raised about $225,000 and counting, the host for the event said.
Oct. 20, Gov. Brian Kemp and the First Lady Marty Kemp attended a fundraising event at the home of Billy Hasty, Jr. in Ball Ground, and were greeted by about 500 people there, Hasty said.
