An Etowah High School instructor has been named the Cherokee County School District’s Teacher of the Year.

Science teacher Lara McDonald is CCSD’s 2023 Teacher of the Year, the district announced Thursday night at its Legacy Makers CCSD Teachers of the Year Celebration. Other educators were also honored during the event.
