The Canton Police Department is advising parents to thoroughly check their children's candy, after it has received two separate reports of sewing needles found in candy.
Canton police contacted two parents Nov. 2 and urged them to file police reports after learning of two incidents of "candy tampering" from a social media post, the department reported.
