River Ridge made it two straight boys’ soccer region championships despite moving to the new Region 6AAAAAA this season.
The Knights (11-3-1, 6-0) downed Sequoyah 3-0 on Friday to finish undefeated in the region and claim the title. It's the first time River Ridge has played to a perfect region record and marks the fourth season with the Knights over .500 in region play in their 11-year history.
River Ridge ran its win streak to ten games with the region title-clinching victory and a 2-1 win over Osborne on Tuesday.
