Former Woodstock track and field standout Will Sumner received a national weekly honor alongside his 4x400-meter relay team at the University of Georgia following the Texas Relays.
Elija Godwin, Matthew Boling, Caleb Cavanaugh and Sumner combined to set the meet’s record with a school record time of 2:58.82 and were named the Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Male Athletes of the Week.
