A grand jury has formally charged a Woodstock man with armed robbery after authorities say he held another man at gunpoint and stole his money.
According to his indictment filed Nov. 14, Oswaldo Ruiz-Garcia, 24, is charged with two counts of armed robbery, four counts of aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Per his arrest warrant filed Aug. 19 by the Woodstock Police Department, he is charged with holding a man at gunpoint and stealing $200 and a wallet from him between 10:10 and 10:20 p.m. Aug. 19.
