A Woodstock man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison after he was found guilty of multiple drug charges, including distributing methamphetamine and manufacturing heroin.
Cherokee County Acting District Attorney Susan Treadaway announced Feb. 9 that a Cherokee County jury had convicted Edward “Jay” Lionel Ball, 40, of distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of heroin, trafficking heroin, manufacturing heroin and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
