Reinhardt offense stalls in loss to Southeastern

From the Ingles Studio this is your news minute on the Cherokee Tribune Ledger Podcast presented by Powers Electrical Solutions. Today is Wednesday, September 13th and I'm Keith Ippolito.

Reinhardt suffered a 23-20 loss to Southeastern after leading by 14 points at halftime. The Eagles had a strong start with a 62-yard touchdown reception by Jakari Clark on the first play. They added two more touchdowns before halftime to take a 20-6 lead. However, their offense struggled in the second half, failing to score. Quarterback Taylor Jackson threw a pick-six, and a high snap led to a turnover. Coach James Miller highlighted the importance of avoiding mistakes and executing. The defense performed well, forcing punts and interceptions. The game's stats were similar, with Reinhardt out-gaining Southeastern 318-317. While the team has started 1-1 for the second consecutive year, they have the opportunity to turn things around with a focus on offensive improvement.
