Strand Theatre stages 11th 'Call-a-thon' to raise funds
The Strand Theatre in Marietta, Georgia, is hosting its 11th annual Call-a-thon to raise funds. Volunteers and staff will be answering calls and making calls to support the nonprofit venue, which relies on ticket sales and events for 72% of its budget. This year's campaign honors Kim Gresh, the chair of the Strand's board of directors, and aims to raise $66,000 in recognition of her six years of leadership. The funds will support the theater's operations and its mission to enrich the community through diverse entertainment and educational programs. Donors can contribute online or by calling a designated number.
