Suspected gunman in Cherokee County shooting was victim's father-in-law

The Cherokee Sheriff's Office has disclosed details about a fatal shooting near Canton. Paul Miceli, aged 55, was found dead in a driveway on Butterworth Road. The suspect, identified as Robert Aycock, aged 80 and Miceli's father-in-law, was discovered seriously injured nearby with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He is currently receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries at Wellstar Kennestone hospital. The incident is under investigation by authorities.
