Late Saturday night, a 17-year-old boy was shot near North Cobb High School and was subsequently taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as reported by Acworth Police Department. The incident took place in the parking lot of Blue Springs Station, located at 3440 Blue Springs Road, during a dispute between the victim and the suspect. Acworth Police officers provided initial medical aid to the victim at the scene. Detectives are collaborating with witnesses and the victim to identify the suspect involved in the shooting. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the Acworth Police Department at 770-974-1232.
