From the Henssler Financial Studio this is your News Minute on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast presented by Engineered Solutions of Georgia.....today is Monday August 7th and I'm Brian GiffinAn Austell man and woman, Marcus Lamonte Jackson and Aceonna Chinn, have been charged with cruelty to children for causing injuries to a six-year-old boy. Jackson is accused of failing to seek immediate medical attention when the boy sustained a serious forehead laceration and of shaking him, causing bruises and a rib fracture. Chinn is accused of striking the boy with a belt, causing a scapula fracture and other injuries. Doctors found additional marks on the boy's body consistent with abuse. Both defendants are facing multiple charges and have been in custody since their arrest on July 27, with no bond set.
