He was indicted on one count of criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The indictment alleges that Sanchez-Gomez entered a Little Ceasars in Woodstock, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from an employee. The incident occurred on July 16, 2020, and Sanchez-Gomez was arrested on April 19. He is currently in custody at the Cherokee County jail without bond. A court hearing is scheduled for August 4.
